Liquid Polymer Mixing Systems

Groundbreaking Liquid Polymer Mixing Equipment

Blue River Technologies changed the way facilities process their wastewater with advances in liquid polymer mixing systems. We offer a series of different equipment options for you to choose from depending on your plant’s specific needs. Reach out to our experts to upgrade your operations with any of the following treatment systems.

Port-A-Poly Mixer

The Blue River Technologies Port-A-Poly Liquid Polymer Makedown System meets the needs of operators that have limited to moderate flocculent requirements. These emulsion polymer makedown systems are low-cost, lightweight, and operate on standard 110VAC power requirements. This system functions in manual mode only and includes an automatic flush cycle at the end of the run cycle.

Series II Liquid Polymer Mixer

The Series II Liquid Polymer Blending System operates as manual or fully automatic. The unit can makedown emulsion polymer at a rate of 5 to 20 GPM. The Blue-White A2 series pump delivers up to seven gallons per hour of emulsion polymer. It operates on standard 110VAC power requirements and includes an automatic flush cycle. This unit consists of a relay-based control, and when in automatic mode, it can be turned on or off with a signal from a remote location, like a sludge pump control.

Series III Liquid Polymer Mixer

The Blue River Technologies Series III Liquid Makedown System meets the needs of plants that require the mixer to interface with a plant PLC system. This liquid mixing equipment has a PLC-based control and can send and receive stop and run commands from a remote PLC. It operates on standard 110VAC power and includes water and polymer flow sensors. The sensors signal the PLC to place the system into a fault mode should it drop below a set point. The mixer then sends a fault signal to the plant PLC to shut down the sludge pumps. The Blue-White A2 series pump can deliver up to seven gallons per hour of emulsion polymer.

Hydro Poly Mixer

The Hydro Poly Mixer is a proprietary product used on our polymer makedown units to invert or mix the liquid polymers used as flocculants in the water and wastewater industries. It can blend several different combinations of liquid-liquid, gas-liquid, or semi-solid to liquid product streams. The Hydro Poly Mixer uses the intense but free energy of converging and colliding liquid streams to provide an instantaneous mixing zone.
